PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
bawabat el sharq is situated in baniyas city at the south east side of the new capital district of Abu Dhabi in the united Arab emirates, a new district between the airport and Abu Dhabi island. the land is situated on a prime intersection of two main highways leading to two important destinations towards Dubai and Al Ain city the surrounding neighborhood is a zone allocated mainly for residential use.
Baniyas city is one of the oldest cities of the Abu Dhabi emirate, holding the unique character of being a local community with a traditional emirati family lifestyle. the development concept is set to improve the community lifestyle by adding value to the local community facilities and services.
the development land is over 108 hectares subsequently a program was set in coordination with the developers
(Baniyas Investment and Development Company ) to conceive on the allocated land of this project a shopping mall, community center specialized clinics, schools and a residential mix of different type of units from single apartment to private villas with swimming pools.
a special care was given to the project planning to ensure the integrity of the new development with the existing neighborhood. simplicity and functionality characterize the architectural style of the community.
the project was awarded "best mixed-used development in the middle east and north Africa at Citiscape 2011 ".
